Self Love Portraits

Is your family going on an adventure?! Life is made up of experiences, let me document them for you! A hike through Avatar Grove, or a visit to Botanical Beach? Maybe a surfing trip in Tofino? A fun hike, mushroom picking, or visiting Rathtrevor and collecting sand dollars? Camping? Even a visit to the museum or other local attractions make for a great adventure session. Let me be your tag along photographer, to make the magical memories of your experience be something you and the kids can reflect back on for a lifetime! Perfect for couples as well. If you'd like to create a great story telling album of a special experience, I'd love to join you. I'd meet your family at your set destination and "tag along" to grab some beautiful candids of your family as well as some posed moments on the journey. Also some beautiful scenery and detail shots, to give you a total story telling feeling from your adventure! this is a fully customizable package based on what your adventure is! Having a new baby is one of the absolute most amazing experiences in life! My goal is to create beautiful, timeless imagery, that perfectly captures all the sweetness of your new little one. It can be an overwhelming time as a new parent, but when you arrive at my studio, it’s&nbsp;your time&nbsp;to relax while I work my magic.Having worked with hundreds of newborns, as well as teaching other photographers the art of newborn posing, I pride myself in newborn safety and skillfully posing your sweet baby. I am a mom of three myself! I also have a great collection of props, bonnets, and headbands to style your session with, a mix of beautiful rustic props, and soft textures to showcase your baby.There is never a session that I am not in awe in the miracle of new life. The newborn stage changes oh so quickly, and can be gone before you know it.. in a matter of days. Let me capture that tiny face of your newest family member, just as they are, brand new. The Newborn Mini Session, is up to 1.5 - 2 hours long and includes just solo shots of baby, both in props and posed on the beanbag. The result is 20 images, delivered via an online secure gallery.The Newborn Full Session is 2-3 hours long and includes solo shots of baby both in props and posed on the beanbag, family and sibling poses, and detail close ups (sweet lashes, lips, toes etc.) This session is all inclusive and results in 35+ images

Newborn Full Session

A family session is all about connection. Those genuine candid smiles and laughs. Not your typical stand beside each other stiff and smile, those pictures show what a person look like. My goal is to create images that make you feel! That when you look at them years down the road you smile because you are taken back to that moment when your children were just little, and you remember the sound of their laugh or the way they looked at you. These sessions are fun and relaxed. I'm happy to suggest some great locations depending on the setting you'd like (field, beach, forest, mountain etc.) and I am available within the greater Victoria area. Ideally to be shot during golden hour, the hour before sunset.

Outdoor Family Session

Love love love capturing gorgeous portraits of our beautiful pets.I offer in studio portraits, great for kittens or other small animals. Well behaved dogs are definitely welcome as well.For the dogs though, I love capturing them having fun out in nature. I am happy to meet at one of our many beautiful off leash beaches or dog parks, or alternatively join on a small hike.Humans are welcome to step in for some pictures together too for all outdoor sessions!

I cannot gaurantee I do have a dress to fit.Recommended Ages, 2+. Being pregnant is such an exciting time! Whether it’s your first or your second or third, each little kick or movement is a reminder of the sweet baby about to be welcomed into your family! The journey into motherhood is something to be celebrated. All the incredible ways your body changes and grows. Capturing that beautiful glowing belly, and all the amazing curves is a powerful way to always remember that time when your baby was inside. Showing the connection between you and your partner, or the excitement on a big sibling to be’s face, it’s a time worth documenting. If you are booking a maternity session with a newborn session, there is a discounted rate for the maternity session. (the maternity session would be $250,) the discount ($135) will be applied to the newborn session.

these in studio Baby sessions are perfect for little ones from 6 months to 1 year+ to capture those milestones that go by way too fast! The gummy little smiles and chubby fingers and toes, and their sweetsmiles that light up their face. I love capturing these precious months as we know babies grow quick.I have a studio full of beautiful props to style the session, keeping things simple and timeless to showcase your baby and their personality. I have a selection of outfits and accessories that fit 6-12 month and some beyond that.

These sweet beautiful girls dreamt away for most of their newborn photography session! They loved settling in together, and their parents are just equally as sweet.

It's never too early to book in your duedate to secure a spot on my calendar for your own Newborn Photography Session, or Maternity Session. Newborn sessions take place at my studio in Oak Bay Victoria, or a maternity session within the Greater Victoria Area.

Twins S + E | newborn session

This family session felt extra special! Not only was it Mom + Dad's anniversary, but both of their grown children were home here in Victoria BC visiting for the holidays. Mom had been dreaming of family photographs, and we were graced with the most beautiful sunrise!! Then, when it already seemed so magical, a pod of ORCAS came by! Happy tears were definitely shed (ok, I was crying!)

When you prompt to gaze out over the ocean, and a pod of WHALES swim by!

To finish up this beautiful family photography session, we went back to the family home in Oak Bay Victoria to be able to include the fur babies!
